Are you an ambitious leader with a passion for driving growth & optimising operational processes? Join our forward-thinking team at Basecamp as Residence Manager for our largest property in Lyngby and become a vital part of creating exceptional student living experiences.

As Residence Manager, you will be at the forefront, overseeing the daily operations and community life at our Lyngby property. You'll lead a dedicated team of 4 people and 5 part-time students, working together to ensure resident satisfaction, financial success, engaging international community and a vibrant living environment.

Job description:

  • Leadership: Lead and manage the property to ensure overall success and resident satisfaction.
  • Eye on the goal: Implement strategies to achieve financial & operational targets of the property including high occupancy, resident satisfaction, and costs and revenue optimisation.
  • Reporting & Budgeting: Steer the property’s financial performance and meticulously analyse & report on P&L, budget & revenue.
  • Brand Ambassador: Maintain a student-first approach in your interactions with residents. Ensure the best representation of Basecamp to external organisations and local institutions to boost occupancy.
  • Property excellence: Manage supplier contracts and relationships, ensure property compliance with all local regulations & emergency procedures.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities & risks to shape informed decisions on renovation- and improvement projects.
  • Administration: Respond to queries, complaints & emergencies. Handle leasing, move-in/out procedures, booking & occupancy systems and commercial tenancies.

  • Experienced in property/facility management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of day-to-day property operations with a relentless need to create seamless workflows and continuously optimise efficiency wherever possible.
  • A people leader: Strong ability to lead, engage and develop a team.
  • Great listening skills: ability to analyse situations from different perspectives.
  • Financial Acumen: Comfortable with financial documents and budget management.
  • Knowledgeable about the technical installations of buildings.
  • A commercial mindset, always keeping the company’s best interest in mind.
  • Always in the loop, thinks and communicates effectively & proactively.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English & Danish.
