Last week, a second Xior residence in Leeuwarden, was officially delivered. The project located on Tweebaksmarkt, was completed on time and is ready to house as many as 184 students from September. We are hereby trying to reduce the housing shortage in the Netherlands. 👷
The monumental building, formerly KPN office space, was transformed into a student residence by property developer Slokker Vastgoed and is equipped with extra insulation, heat pumps and PV panels. In addition, space was made for several communal areas, an indoor bicycle shed, study rooms, a number of lounges and a laundry room. As icing on the cake; a cosy indoor garden of 700m2! Sounds pretty perfect, right? 🌼
