Christian Teunissen
CEO
Christian Teunissen started his career in the insurance sector at Fortis AG. In 2000 he started his own insurance office through the acquisition of AdB Business Partners, which was sold to Van Dessel Verzekeringen in 2005. He obtained his master's degree in commercial sciences (accountancy option) at EHSAL in Brussels in 1996. Since 2005, Christian has focused on developing a real estate portfolio, both as a developer, investor and manager. In 2007 Christian Teunissen realized his first student housing project, consisting of 45 student rooms.
Frederik Snauwaert
CFO
Frederik has been CFO of the Company since 2012. He started his career at PwC in 2003, before joining Fortis Lease Group Services. From 2008 to 2012, he was Relationship Manager Midcorporates & Institutionals (Real Estate) at ING Belgium, after which he made the switch to Xior. Frederik Snauwaert obtained a master's degree in commercial sciences, option financial policy and investment theory at EHSAL in Brussels in 2003. In 2009 he completed the real estate course Postgraduate in Real Estate Science at the KULeuven.
Kristina Olsen
COO
As COO, Kristina is responsible for the overall management of day-to-day operations of Xior. She began her career in the real estate sector, working in real estate sales, operations and development. Between 2000 and 2016, Kristina held various managerial positions within listed Scandinavian construction company NCC. When she left to focus on residential development, she held the title of Managing Director of Denmark and Norway. In 2021, Kristina joined the Basecamp team as Managing Director of Basecamp Nordics. She has postgraduate certificates from both Oxford University and INSEAD and is a licensed real estate agent.
