Do you want to contribute to this as Residence Technician in Amsterdam?
In this versatile position, you will ensure that our properties are in perfect condition. From carrying out minor repairs to monitoring cleanliness and waste management, you will keep everything running smoothly. Thanks to your practical attitude and problem-solving skills, you will be able to quickly resolve unexpected situations. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure a pleasant and well-maintained living environment for our students.
Job description:
- You will ensure that our tenants feel at home at Xior
- You will assist tenants and answer any questions they may have about the facilities in and around the building.
- You will be responsible for all kinds of (preventive) repairs and maintenance in and around our student properties. This includes minor repairs such as replacing a light bulb, painting a wall or minor garden maintenance.
- You are responsible for the cleanliness of the property. You ensure that the property is neat and tidy and keep an eye on waste management;
- Sometimes an emergency comes up, but thanks to your problem-solving skills, it is quickly resolved. In between, you pop into the DIY store to buy materials for a small repair;
- If necessary, you help with student check-ins and check-out;
- You maintain contact with your colleagues at the property and at the office about the progress of all matters that arise.
Your profile:
- You have experience with odd jobs/construction/carpentry work.
- Some experience with plumbing or electrical work is an advantage.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
- You live in the Amsterdam area.
- You can work independently and keep track of things.
- You are presentable and willing to wear company clothing.
- You have a driving licence.
