Would you like to contribute to this as a Maintenance Manager in Spain? 

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate the maintenance strategy across all our residences in Spain. This is a key, transversal role with high impact on operational excellence, cost efficiency and asset performance.  

Your Mission

You will define and oversee the overall maintenance strategy for the Spanish portfolio, ensuring consistent technical standards, optimized maintenance costs, regulatory compliance and effective preventive and corrective maintenance planning. You will act as the main technical point of reference for Residence Managers and internal stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent technical standards and maintenance protocols across all residences.
  • Coordinate the in-sourcing of maintenance technicians where feasible to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance budgets at portfolio level.
  • Negotiate and manage framework agreements with suppliers and service providers.
  • Develop multi-year maintenance and renovation plans (CAPEX & OPEX).
  • Optimize energy consumption and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with technical, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the technical support and advisor for Residence Managers, strengthening local teams with limited technical expertise.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Technical background in Engineering, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture or similar.
  • Proven experience in multi-site maintenance management, ideally in residential, student housing, hospitality or real estate.
  • Strong experience managing suppliers, budgets and maintenance planning.
  • Strategic mindset, cost-oriented approach and strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High autonomy and willingness to travel frequently across Spain.
