Are you ready to make a difference in the world of student housing as a Property Manager for our Utrecht and Amsterdam region?
As a Property Manager, you play a key role in maintaining and improving our student residences. You keep an overview, ensure everything runs smoothly, and look for opportunities to optimise wherever possible. As you regularly visit our properties across different locations, you’ll spend time on the road and enjoy plenty of variety. From a day at the office in Utrecht to visiting one of our properties or meeting with a supplier, your working week is always diverse.
What will you do?
In your role as Property Manager you will:
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs: You review work orders, determine the appropriate action, assign work to suppliers, place orders, and coordinate execution with our caretakers while keeping costs under control. This includes both preventive maintenance and urgent repairs.
- Work closely with suppliers and contractors: You build strong relationships with our external partners and ensure work is carried out efficiently, to a high standard, and at appropriate costs. You regularly review ongoing maintenance contracts and ensure agreements are followed up correctly and on time.
- Take the lead during site visits: You regularly visit our locations and assess the technical condition and maintenance of our properties together with the relevant colleagues. You identify areas requiring attention and ensure the necessary actions are followed up.
- Coordinate larger maintenance projects: For larger projects, you request multiple quotations, compare price, quality, and approach, and provide well-founded recommendations. During execution, you monitor progress, quality, and costs.
- Focus on costs and sustainability: You monitor maintenance costs and actively look for opportunities to optimise them. At the same time, you consider the sustainability of our buildings and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to resident satisfaction: You work closely with the Guest Services Team and take our residents, as well as check-ins and check-outs, into account when planning work. When problems or complaints arise, you help find practical and appropriate solutions.
