Would you like to contribute to this as Residence Manager in Brussels?
As Residence Manager, you will be a first and important point of contact for the students living in your residence. You will become the person of choice for residents, parents, neighbours and educational institutions and ensure a real sense of community.
Job description:
- You are responsible for the management of the entire residence and ensure that the house rules are respected
- You welcome new residents and show them around the residence
- You follow up the check-ins and check-outs of residents (key cards that are out of date, checking rooms, etc.)
- You carry out minor repairs yourself
- You maintain the residence in cooperation with the cleaning team
- You are responsible for waste management
- You are available in emergencies and at weekends
- You document the building in a structured way. You keep all technical and other information in an orderly manner
Your profile:
- You have a hands-on mentality and can cope with a fun student gang
- You are optimistic, empathetic and in touch with the world of higher education students
- You have excellent communication skills
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and French, knowledge of English is a plus, not a must
- You are confident, responsible and able to analyse situations and act accordingly
- You cope well with emergency situations and have good reactivity
