On the 23rd of April, the Xior Student Housing team participated in the Baloise 10 Miles race in Antwerp. Just like last year's edition, everyone successfully made it to the finish line. We are very proud of everyone’s impressive performance!
This year's edition was a bit more special because we supported the charity Plan International. Plan International is an international NGO that advocates for children's rights and equal opportunities for both boys and girls. They strive for a world where all children, girls and boys, have the opportunity to make their own choices about their bodies and lives, get the chance to go to school, can develop freely without fear and violence and can participate in decisions that are important to them.
As a student housing company, we have a special soft spot for children, learning and education. We want to help young people get a chance at a fair education and a bright future. That’s why we chose to link this Xiorize sporting activity to Plan International.
Xior sponsored each participant by providing their entry ticket for the 10 miles. We encouraged all of our runners to find sponsors, so we could help Plan International provide these young girls and boys with a better future.
