Would you like to contribute to this as Commercial Property Manager (40h)?

As Commercial Property Manager, you play an important role in managing and optimising our commercial property portfolio, which consists mainly of student accommodation and associated facilities such as shops and office space. You are the point of contact for our commercial tenants and ensure their satisfaction while also keeping an eye on returns. In addition, you actively contribute to strategic growth opportunities and play a key role in rent committee matters. No day is the same! 

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing and optimising the commercial property portfolio: You are the first point of contact for tenants and manage and optimise leases, rent increases and vacancy management, with a keen eye on cost control and yield improvement.
  • Optimisation of rental income: You ensure optimal occupancy of the commercial property portfolio. You also analyse market trends and come up with proposals to improve occupancy and rental income.
  • Contract management: You draft rental contracts and ensure the correct administrative handling of new and current contracts.
  • Maintenance and renovation: Together with the technical department and external suppliers, you ensure that the maintenance of the premises runs smoothly and direct projects where necessary.
  • Relationship management: You maintain contact with commercial tenants, ensuring clear communication and resolving problems in a timely and effective manner with a view to long-term collaborations.
  • Rent committee cases: You supervise tenancy committee cases, handle disputes and prepare files for tenancy committee proceedings.
  • Business support and process optimisation: You provide support in drawing up and implementing business plans and contribute to streamlined working methods across all regions

Your profile:

  • A completed college degree in Real Estate & Brokerage, Business Administration or similar.
  • At least 3 years' working experience in commercial property management.
  • Experience with rent committee procedures and legal issues regarding leases.
  • Good communication skills and able to build and maintain relationships with tenants.
  • Solution-oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
