Roxi is a hybrid hotel concept, part of Xior Student Housing. The Roxi Residence opened its doors in 2019 in Zaventem (Brussels).
The fully renovated residence includes studios; equipped with a kitchen, a TV, a dining area, etc. These studios can be booked for both long and short stays.
The Roxi Residence operates automated, with limited services but with a personalised approach.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Junior Hotel Supervisor to join our team at Roxi The Urban Residence Brussels. The Junior Hotel Supervisor will help oversee daily operations, ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and maintain hotel standards. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who wants to develop their leadership skills and progress into hotel management.
Job Description:
- Operational Management: Assist in managing daily hotel operations, including reception, housekeeping and maintenance. Ensure smooth and efficient workflow in all departments.
- Guest Relations: Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing complaints, resolving issues and ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. Act as a point of contact for guest queries and feedback.
- Supervise staff: Assist in supervising and training hotel staff, promoting a positive working environment. Ensuring staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Inventory and supplies: Monitor inventory levels, including housekeeping and coordinate orders with suppliers as needed.
- Financial management: Assist in monitoring budgets, controlling expenses and ensuring financial targets are met. Assist with invoicing and other financial processes.
- Marketing and sales support: Work with the marketing team to promote the hotel, assist the social media team and participate in local community events to increase the hotel's visibility.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance, guest satisfaction and other key statistics to senior management.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (Mews) is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
