As a Maintenance Technician, you are an important link in the region. From minor technical repairs to major maintenance, you can handle it all. If an unexpected urgent job comes in, you can solve it with your practical approach, and in between jobs you can quickly pick up the right materials at the hardware store.
Job description:
- You will work independently in the region and be responsible for all kinds of repairs and maintenance in and around our student buildings and units. These may be technical in nature, e.g. minor repairs to electrical and/or heating systems, but also minor painting or garden maintenance, etc.
- Sometimes a small emergency arises, but your problem-solving skills will solve it in no time. In between, you drive to the hardware store to buy materials. Together with the residence manager, you contribute directly to the cleanliness and appearance of the building.
- You carry out (preventive) maintenance work in the premises
- You liaise with your colleagues on the progress of all occurring issues.
- Occasionally, you join your colleagues at an event.
Your profile:
- You have experience with small handyman / construction carpentry works.
- You have a driving licence.
- You work independently and are stress-resistant.
- You are solution-oriented and proactive.
- You can express yourself well in Dutch and English.
